Microbank's Reporting and Transparency

Transparency of the financial sector is one of the key priorities of the National Bank of Georgia. A high level of transparency helps reduce information asymmetry, increase trust in the financial industry, and protect the rights of consumers and investors. To achieve this goal, the National Bank of Georgia periodically implements relevant reforms. One of the significant components of the transparency of the financial sector is the transparency of information from microbanks. According to the requirements of the National Bank, reports prepared according to both International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Pillar 3 are accessible. These include information on the risks faced by the microbank, elements of regulatory capital, corporate governance, and risk management.

Microbanks send various types of reports to the supervisory authority:

    • Audited annual financial statements,
    • Pillar 3 annual forms
    • Pillar 3 quarterly forms
    • Other supervisory forms
