Important payment systems

In accordance with the Rules on determination of sub-categories on important payment systems and the designation of important payment system, approved under the Decree of the President of the National Bank of Georgia No.298/04, November 3, 2023, following payment systems are designated as important payment systems:

Systemically important payment systems:

• The Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system operated by the National Bank of Georgia 

Prominently important payment systems:

• JSC "Georgian Card"
• JSC "United Financial Corporation"
• The closed loop payment system of JSC "TBC Bank"
• The closed loop payment system of JSC "Bank of Georgia"
• The card payment system operated by JSC "Liberty Bank"
