As assigned by legislation, the National Bank of Georgia prepares and publishes a quarterly "Monetary Policy Report", which contains detailed forecasts of those inflation indicators that play a crucial role in the monetary policy formation process. The report focuses on the forecast of economic growth as well.
The inflation reports also cover the macroeconomic analysis of the country, in particular: dynamics of changes in consumer prices for the relevant reporting period; exogenous and endogenous factors influencing this dynamic; and a survey of financial and foreign exchange sectors. The schedule of publishing the report is strictly defined and observed.
