In accordance with the "Rule for Publishing Information on Certain Measures Used by the National Bank of Georgia on the Official Website of the National Bank of Georgia" approved by the Order N99/04 of the President of the National Bank of Georgia of April 18, 2024, from January 1, 2025, information on certain measures used by the National Bank of Georgia is published in accordance with the principles and format provided for in mentioned rule.

Information on certain measures used by the National Bank is subject to publication, for following directions:

• Regarding sanctions (monetary fines) imposed on Commercial banks and Microbanks;
• Sanctions imposed regarding prevention of money laundering and terrorism financing;
• Regarding monetary fines imposed for violation of consumer rights;
• Regarding monetary fines imposed for violation of the requirements established for the supervision of the credit information bureau;
• Regarding sanctions imposed in accordance with the legislation on capital market.

Publication of mentioned information is based on best international practice and aims promotion of transparency in the financial sector as well as prevention of violations of supervisory requirements.
