Framework for Communication with Auditors
„The purpose of the “Guidelines on Effective Communication between Audit Firms and the National Bank” is to facilitate communication between the National Bank and audit firms in relation to supervised entities. The Guidelines are based on the principles and recommendations of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, the European Banking Authority, and other recognized international best practices. The document outlines the general framework for such communication, including principles related to its form and frequency. It should be noted that effective communication of this kind plays a particularly important role in the implementation of the National Bank’s planned project to transition supervisory reporting of commercial banks to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).“
