On imposition of the monetary fine on the payment service provider JSC Oppa (registration N0002-9004)

    The monetary fine of 23 000 (Twenty three thousand) GEL was imposed on payment service provider JSC Oppa.

     

    1. For 5 (Five) cases of misrepresentation of information/documentation to the National Bank of Georgia in the process of inspection;
    2. In accordance with “the Rule of Determining, Imposing and Enforcing the Amount of the Fine for the Payment Service Provider” approved by the order N87 / 04 of the President of the National Bank of Georgia of June 13, 2017 (01/01/2019 - 31/12/2020) in accordance with Article 2, sub-paragraph “Z5.d”;
    3. For 3 (three) cases for breach of article 3, paragraph 1, sub-paragraph “a” of the regulation approved by the Order N12 (March 11, 2015) of the Head of the Financial monitoring Service of Georgia on “Receiving, Systemizing and Processing Information and Reporting to the Financial Monitoring Service of Georgia by Payment Service Providers”. In accordance with “the Rule of Determining, Imposing and Enforcing the Amount of the Fine for the Payment Service Provider” approved by the order N87 / 04 of the President of the National Bank of Georgia of June 13, 2017 in accordance with Article 2​1, paragraph 3, sub-paragraph “P”.
