During an inspection, it was revealed that in 2 (two) cases, the microfinance organization failed to take reasonable steps to determine the origin of the client's assets and funds. In accordance with Article 3, Paragraph 3, Subparagraph "Z" of the “Rule for Determining, Imposing, and Enforcing Fines on Microfinance Organizations and Their Administrators,” adopted on February 5, 2020, by Order No. 16/04 of the President of the National Bank of Georgia, the microfinance organization is subject to a fine of 3,000 GEL (three thousand GEL) per case. In total, for the 2 (two) violations mentioned in this paragraph, the fine amounts to 6,000 GEL (six thousand GEL).

As a result, JSC "Microfinance Organization Micro Fini" was fined a total of 6,000 (six thousand) GEL.
