The winners of the Student Conference have been revealed at the National Bank of Georgia. Mr. David Amaglobeli, the Acting President of the National Bank of Georgia congratulated Levan Gachechiladze and Irakli Chelidze, the students of the Georgian-American University, the authors of the best works upon their success. Special commission selected the works of Nino Bolkvadze and Mikheil Dvalishvili (Tbilisi State University) and Tsitsi Chkadua, Gagi Gochelashvili and David Zazadze (Georgian-American University) - for second and third places, respectively. There were ten studies presented for the final competition. Their authors were awarded certificates and valuable presents.

Student Conference was organized by the National Bank of Georgia and supported by its partner higher educational establishments. "This conference is held for a second time and it should be stressed that as compared to the first one, the number of students participating in it has been increased and the quality of the presented studies has been improved. By conducting such conferences, the National Bank of Georgia facilitates the development of the economic research in Georgia. We plan to organize similar events regularly and extend their scope in future,"- Declared David Amaglobeli.
