The process of personnel testing has commenced at the National Bank of Georgia. At the initial stage employees of the four departments of the National Bank will be appraised. According to the decision of the Testing & Contest Committee, tests will be passed in a written form. Tests include: the issues of the Banking Legislation of Georgia, macro and microeconomics, IQ tests and Microsoft Excel.
After testing, the second stage - interviews are envisaged. The above-mentioned committee will interview the NBG personnel. The employee who passes a written examination successfully has a right to take the next stage – the interview.
NBG personnel testing is a part of a staff reform. Prior to the personnel testing, structural reorganization has been carried out at the National Bank of Georgia. Instead of 19 structural units, 53 departments and 9 regional branches, only 15 structural units and 7 regional branches have been established.
Personnel testing will extend to the employees of other departments of the National Bank of Georgia too.
