The President of the National Bank of Georgia made a speech at the seminar held in Warsaw

Official visit of the President of the National Bank of Georgia Roman Gotsiridze began in Poland. He had the meeting with the President of the National Bank of Poland Leshek Baltserovich. At the meeting, the presidents of the National Banks spoke about the economic situation in the both countries and future cooperation of Georgia and Poland in the banking area.   According to the President of the National Bank of Georgia Roman Gotsiridze, it is vitally important to study the experience of Poland as the country of successful reforms. "Noteworthy that the banking system of Poland achieved the international standards level in a very short run. As the result of flexible supervisory policy developed by the National Bank of Poland, the banking sector is strong and stable and, accordingly, attractive for foreign investors. Despite the fact that the Georgian banking system develops in a stable manner, the market is competitive and meets the banks supervision international principles, sharing experience of Poland will shape new perspectives for the banking system of Georgia, said the President of the National Bank of Georgia Roman Gotsiridze".   At the meeting the President of the National Bank of Poland Leshek Baltserovich promised the Georgian colleague to develop internship programs for experts as soon as possible.   Within the framework of the visit, the President of the National Bank of Georgia made a speech at the seminar organized by the National Bank of Poland: "Georgia: Economic changes and outlooks after the "Rose Revolution".  The seminar, which was opened by the President of the National Bank of Poland Leshek Baltserovich, was attended by the management of the National Bank of Poland, representatives from the commercial bank, scientists, Poland businessmen and representatives of the press. The speech sparked a great interest among the participants of the seminar. Discussion around the speech lasted more than the planned 1 hour.       The Agenda of the visit envisages meetings of the President of the National Bank of Georgia in the mint of Poland, representatives of business circles in Warsaw and Krakow.
