The Kvareli Money Museum of the National Bank of Georgia welcomed representatives from the Greek-Georgian Cultural Association and the Georgian folk song and dance ensemble Iverieli.

Representatives from Finedu, the NBG's financial education platform, conducted an educational meeting for about 30 Georgian immigrant students living in Greece. The young attendees learned about the functions of the National Bank of Georgia, the key aspects of financial education, and various educational projects.

In the final part of the meeting, Roland Spanderashvili, the curator of the Money Museum, gave the guests a special tour, introducing them to the history of Georgian money and showcasing unique exhibits.

This visit was part of the National Strategy of Financial Education. Updated in 2023, this strategy identified immigrants as a key target segment, reflecting the current realities of Georgia. Consequently, the National Bank of Georgia has recently implemented several educational activities aimed at supporting immigrants, helping them integrate and strengthen their ties to Georgia, and raising their financial literacy.
