On September 10, 2009, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 15 000 000 GEL were sold at the 91-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #36.  The securities were purchased by five commercial banks.  The minimum interest rate was 4.00%, the maximum interest rate was 4.47%, and the average weighted interest rate was 4.34%.
