On November 5, 2009, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 10 000 000 GEL were sold at the 91-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #44.  The securities were purchased by three (3)  commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 3.02%, the maximum interest rate was 3.06%, and the average weighted interest rate was 3.05%.
