On December 24, 2009, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of GEL 15 000 000 were sold at the 91-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #52.  The securities were purchased by three (3) commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 2.85%, the maximum interest rate was 3.45%, and the average weighted interest rate was 3.16%.
