On December 31, 2009, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of GEL 15 000 000 were sold at the 91-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #53.  The securities were purchased by two (2) commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 2.90%, the maximum interest rate was 3.12%, and the average weighted interest rate was 3.10%.
