On August 26, 2010, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of GEL 5 100 000 were sold at the 91-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #34.  The securities were purchased by five (5) commercial banks.  The minimum interest rate was 9.10%, the maximum interest rate was 9.50%, and the average weighted interest rate was 9.38%.
