On December 2, 2010, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 30 000 000 GEL were sold at the 90-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #48. The securities were purchased by seven commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 8.49%, the maximum interest rate was 9.88%, and the average weighted interest rate was 9.59%.
