On February  23, 2011, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 35 000 000 GEL were sold at the 92-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #8. The securities were purchased by seven commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 9.30%, the maximum interest rate was 9.81%, and the average weighted interest rate was 9.61%.
