On March  2, 2011, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 35 000 000 GEL were sold at the 90-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #9. The securities were purchased by four commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 9.25%, the maximum interest rate was 9.47%, and the average weighted interest rate was 9.45%.
