On March  9, 2011, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 35 000 000 GEL were sold at the 91-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #10. The securities were purchased by four commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 9.18%, the maximum interest rate was 9.25%, and the average weighted interest rate was 9.25%.
