On August 31, 2011, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 10 000 000 GEL were sold at the 84-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #35. The securities were purchased by three commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 7.55%, the maximum interest rate was 7.77%, and the average weighted interest rate was 7.66%.
