On October 26, 2011, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 10 000 000 GEL were sold at the 85-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #43. The securities were purchased by two commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 8.24%, the maximum interest rate was 8.54%, and the average weighted interest rate was 8.50%.
