On December 21, 2011, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 30 000 000 GEL were sold at the 84-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #51. The securities were purchased by three commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 7.20%, maximum interest rate was 7.33% and the average weighted interest rate was 7.31%.
