On April 11, 2012, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 30 000 000 GEL were sold at the 84-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction N15. The securities were purchased by seven(7) commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 5.60%, the maximum interest rate was 6.72%, and the average weighted interest rate was 6.47%.
