
Representatives of the National Bank of Georgia Share Experience with Azerbaijani Counterparts
Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the National Bank of Georgia and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, a delegation from the National Bank of Georgia paid an official visit to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
The memorandum envisages close cooperation between the two central banks, including the exchange of experience and information across a range of areas, notably financial stability and sustainable finance.
During the visit, representatives of the Financial Stability Department of the National Bank of Georgia shared their expertise with Azerbaijani colleagues on macroprudential policy, financial stability analysis, stress testing of the financial sector, and the sustainable finance framework.
The delegation of the National Bank of Georgia was represented by David Utiashvili, Head of the Financial Stability Department; Mariam Kharaishvili, Head of the Financial Stability Analysis and Macro-Financial Modelling Division; and Salome Tvalodze, Head of the Sustainable Finance Division.
