Payment Operations of the National Bank of Georgia to Proceed as Usual on the Day Before Easter

By decision of the National Bank of Georgia, Saturday, April 11 falling within the holiday period has been designated a banking day to ensure uninterrupted financial services for individuals and businesses during the holidays associated with April 9 and the Easter festival.


On April 11, the Bank’s payment and securities settlement systems, as well as cash operations and monetary instruments, will be fully accessible to commercial banks and microbanks. As a result, customers will be able to carry out payment transactions seamlessly on the day before Easter.


For reference, April 9, along with April 10-13, has been declared an official public holiday period in connection with the Easter celebrations.
