By decision of the National Bank of Georgia, Saturday, April 11 falling within the holiday period has been designated a banking day to ensure uninterrupted financial services for individuals and businesses during the holidays associated with April 9 and the Easter festival.

On April 11, the NBG’s real time gross settlement system and NBG overnight deposits will be fully accessible to commercial banks and microbanks. As a result, customers will be able to carry out payment transactions seamlessly on the day before Easter.

For reference, April 9, along with April 10-13, has been declared an official public holiday period in connection with the Easter celebrations.
