One more important project has been implemented with the participation of National Bank of Georgia
On 4 June in the grand hall of National Bank of Georgia the graduates of “Economy Winter School” were awarded the certificates by Vice-President of National Bank of Georgia David Amaglobeli, Head of Tbilisi City Hall social service and culture civil service Mamuka Katsarava and the representative of Nongovernmental Organization “Economists Forum of Georgia”.
“One of the main functions of National Bank of Georgia, as the central bank of the country, is the contemporary economic knowledge dissemination. National Bank of Georgia shall further continue implementation of various projects for the purpose of economic education and knowledge dissemination facilitation” – declared David Amaglobeli.
Trainings hold during December 2008 – March 2009 by “Economists Forum of Georgia” with the support of Tbilisi City Hall, National Bank of Georgia and Tbilisi State University were conducted by the invited specialist, among them employees of National Bank of Georgia – Rati Gabrichidze, Zviad Zedginidze and Giorgi Papava.
Trainings called “Economy Winter School” were held in 5 subjects: macroeconomics, microeconomics, financial mathematics and banking, currency market (FOREX), econometrics and 130 interested stakeholders participated in the trainings (students, public and private sector representatives).
Nongovernmental Organization “Economists Forum of Georgia” systematically performed various projects for the purpose of economic education facilitation. The main goal of mentioned programs is the professional knowledge perfection for the stakeholders (theoretical as well as practical).
