Natia Turnava, Acting Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, met with Umut Shayakhmetova, Chairperson of the Management Board of Halyk Bank Kazakhstan, and Nikoloz Geguchadze, General Director of Halyk Bank Georgia.

Discussion at the introductory meeting focused on the economic situation in the region and cooperation between Halyk Bank and the NBG. The parties underscored the NBG’s role in the stability of the financial sector of Georgia and the growth prospects of Kazakh investments in the sector.
