Natia Turnava, Acting Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, met with the members of the Investment Council of the Pension Agency.

 

The meeting discussed the recent actions of the Investment Council. The discussion also covered the ongoing changes in the law on cumulative pension and investment plans.

 

"Ongoing reforms, current progress and challenges were discussed at today's meeting with the Investment Council. The NBG, as the supervisor of the investment activities of the Pension Agency, periodically receives information from the members of the Council. It was an ordinary working meeting, where we talked extensively about the current topics, and looked at how to make the investment activities of the Pension Agency more effective from the supervision perspective," said Natia Turnava.
