Natia Turnava Holds Working Meeting with Officials from the Netherlands Ministry of Finance
Natia Turnava, Acting Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, held a working meeting with representatives from of Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands.
During the meeting, the Georgian partners briefed the representatives of the Netherlands Ministry of Finance on Georgia’s main macroeconomic trends, the current monetary policy framework, actions taken to promote financial stability, the reforms implemented in banking supervision, as well as the supervisory policy of the National Bank of Georgia. The discussion also addressed current developments and underlying challenges in the region.
Natia Turnava expressed gratitude to the Dutch partners for the cooperation and technical assistance provided across various areas. It is noteworthy that the Netherlands supports NBG in several areas, including financial education.
"In recent years, Georgia has been a regional leader in various activities, and financial education is a shared objective for all countries. In this regard, Georgia is a valuable partner in the European Community," said Robin Uyterlinde.
