Money Transfers in September
In September 2014, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 132.1 million USD (230.6 million GEL), which is 1.0 million USD (1.7 million GEL), or 0.7 percent more than the amount in September 2013.
91.4 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 11 big donor countries, with the volume of transfers from of these countries each exceeding 1.5 million USD in September 2014. In September 2013 the share of these 11 countries constituted 92.5 percent of the total volume of money transfers.
