Money Transfers in March
In March 2016, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 90.7 million USD (216.8 million GEL), which is 1.3 percent (1.2 million USD) less than the amount in March 2015.
89.4 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 11 largest donor countries, with the volume of transfers from of these countries each exceeding 1 million USD in March 2016. In March 2015 the share of these 11 countries constituted 89.6 percent of the total volume of money transfers.

In March 2016, 16.6 million USD (or 39.6 million GEL) was transferred from Georgia, as compared to 15.0 million USD (or 33.0 million GEL) in March 2015.
