Money Transfers in January
In January 2015, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 75.5 million USD (146.5 million GEL), which is 23.0 million USD (44.6 million GEL), or 23.3 percent less than the amount in January 2014.
87.0 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 9 big donor countries, with the volume of transfers from of these countries each exceeding 1.5 million USD in January 2015. In January 2014 the share of these 9 countries constituted 89.6 percent of the total volume of money transfers.
