In January 2018, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 110.0 million USD (280.3 million GEL), which is 31.1 percent (26.1 million USD) more than the amount in January 2017.
 


90.4 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 12 largest donor countries, with the volume of transfers from these countries each exceeding 1 million USD in January 2018. In January 2017 the share of these 12 countries constituted 90.8 percent of the total volume of money transfers.

In January 2018, 15.0 million USD (or 38.2 million GEL) was transferred from Georgia, as compared to 13.3 million USD (or 36.1 million GEL) in January 2017.
