In February 2015, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 82.2 million USD (171.1 million GEL), which is 22.7 million USD (47.4 million GEL), or 21.7 percent less than the amount in February 2014.

91.6 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 12 big donor countries, with the volume of transfers from of these countries each exceeding 1 million USD in February 2015. In February 2014 the share of these 12 countries constituted 92.9 percent of the total volume of money transfers.

In February 2015, 14.6 million USD (or 30.5 million GEL) was transferred from Georgia, as compared to 12.6 million USD (or 22.1 million GEL) in February 2014.
