Money Transfers in December
In December 2014, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 116.1 million USD (218.8 million GEL), which is 38.5 million USD (72.5 million GEL), or 24.9 percent less than the amount in December 2013.
91.1 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 11 big donor countries, with the volume of transfers from of these countries each exceeding 1.5 million USD in December 2014. In December 2013 the share of these 11 countries constituted 92.7 percent of the total volume of money transfers.
