The net international investment position (IIP) of Georgia amounted to -29.1 billion USD (-74.6 billion GEL) for March 31 2023, accounting for -110.1 percent of the last 4 quarter GDP. (The same item for December 31 2022, accounted 115.1 percent)  Net IIP deteriorated by 966.0 million USD compared to the previous quarter.

International assets amounted to 14.8 billion USD (37.8 billion GEL) by March 31 2023, increased by 428.2 million USD quarterly.

Liabilities increased by 1.4 billion USD during the quarter totaling 43.9 billion USD (112.4 billion GEL).
