Today at the National Bank of Georgia an agreement was formed between the NBG and "Zarapxana".  According to the agreement, Lari banknotes, bars and numismatic values made by the National Bank of Georgia for Collection and other purposes will be available in Jewelry stores network of "Zarapxana".

The cooperation agreement was signed by the Executive Director of the National Bank of Georgia, George Melashvili and General Director of  LTD "Zarapxana", Giorgi Georbelidze.

Before now purchase of collection banknotes and coins, as well as gold investment coins of different size and weight was available only in Money Museum of the National Bank of Georgia.

"Recently the interest toward the investment coins and the collection banknotes has increased tangibly. Tourists in Georgia often visit the Money Museum of the National Bank of Georgia and buy collection banknotes and other values. Henceforward, the local collectors and the guests of the country as well will be able to purchase product in "Zarapkhana" stores", -stated Mr. George Melashvili, Executive Director of the NBG.

By this time "Zarapkhana" operates with ten stores. Seven of them located in the downtown of Tbilisi and three of them in other cities of Georgia, in Batumi, Kutaisi and Zugdidi. At the first stage the sale of collection banknotes and investment coins is planned in four stores of Tbilisi and also in Batumi in view of active summer season. It is planned to realize the mentioned souvenir attributes in other stores of the company in line with increased demand.
