Today National Bank of Georgia took part in the event dedicated to the Independence Day.  Rustaveli Theatre hall hosted the historical exhibition for which the central bank of Georgia presented an important attribute of the statehood - Lari notes and coins issued in different years, in order to present its development and ensure further popularization.

Exhibition has opened in the morning in the Rustaveli theatre and hosted visitors throughout the whole day. The National Bank of Georgia presented first Lari emission banknotes and coins, collection coins, souvenirs made  from Lari banknotes, photos of upgraded Lari banknotes and national currency symbols.

It should be noted that last week, in relation to the Georgia Independence Day, NBG hosted educational tour and Georgian money exhibition in Kvareli money museum.
