CBDC & DeFi Conference Researching Prospects of the New Financial Ecosystem

An international conference on Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) and Decentralized Finance (DeFi) will be opened at the Stamba Hotel on May 4-5 at 09:30 am by the National Bank of Georgia and USAID Economic Security Program and with the involvement of the World Bank.

 

Koba Gvenetadze, the Governor of the National Bank of Georgia will take part in the conference.

 

The international conference will be attended by Levan Davitashvili, Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia; Peter Wiebler, Mission Director of USAID Georgia; Mark McCord, the Head of the USAID Economic Security Program and Sebastian Molineus, World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus; also, the representatives of international financial and donor organizations, commercial banks, fintech companies, business associations and leading companies in the financial and information technology sectors.
