FinEdu is the first Georgian educational web portal dedicated to financial education that offers educational resources such as publications and blogs, brochures, textbooks and other similar printed and support materials, video and audio content. Any interested party is free to use the material published on the website (except for copyright blogs), unless these are used for commercial purposes, which is not allowed. The website provides the impartial information compliant to the legislation
Financial education is a combination of financial knowledge, behaviors and attitudes that help people to properly assess the environment, the risks and opportunities they face, and to make sensible, thought-through, responsible and informed financial decisions. Financial education helps people to better protect their rights and achieve personal or family financial wellness.
FinEdu's is missioned to become a reliable and competent financial guide in the life of each consumer of financial products, to give all of them motivation and self-confidence to set financial goals and strive to achieve them, to be a constant companion of these people to the ultimate goal - personal and family financial wellness.

FinEdu is useful also for those people, who are engaged in promoting financial education professionally or for other personal interests, and are in need of reliable and accurate information and support materials.
The Financial Education Portal was created as part of the National Strategy for Financial Education. Led by the National Bank of Georgia, the implementation of this strategy involves a number of private companies (banks, microfinance institutions), public agencies, educational institutions and local and international non-government organizations and donors.
The team of the Financial Education Division of the National Bank of Georgia makes sure the resources are compatible with the National Strategy for Financial Education and publish them on the website. These materials were developed by the staff of different NBG business units and other agencies and organizations listed above.
