The Internal Control Compliance Questionnaire, defined by the rule for the Virtual Asset Service Provider’s (VASP’s) registration at the National Bank of Georgia, registration cancellation, and regulation  has been published on the website.

The interested party, intending to register as a Virtual Asset Service Provider, must submit to the National Bank of Georgia, along with other documentation as defined by the rule, an AML/CFT internal instruction (policy-procedure) that should include organisational risk assessment developed by a Virtual Asset Service Provider.

The National Bank is authorised to request the provision of information from the internal procedures in the form of the questionnaire, in addition or instead of internal instruction (policy-procedure). Electronic version of the questionnaire has been published on the official website of the National Bank. The National Bank reviews the documentation only in terms of the completeness of its constituent components. The National Bank is authorised to undertake full content review of the mentioned documentation based on the risk-based approach principle.
