The National Bank of Georgia (NBG) will mint new commemorative coins in 2009. The NBG would like to announce a competition for the best design for these commemorative coins.  The themes for the competition are the following:

• Georgian art. Series: Georgian performance art. Dance "Mtiuluri
• Architectural inheritance of Georgia. Series: Georgia in the list of UNESCO's world cultural heritage. The oldest monument of the town Mtsketa „Cross Monastery". Series: National Treasure. Ilory St. Georgi Church in the territory of Abkhazia (Ochamcihre)
• Free Composition. 90^th Anniversary of the National Bank of Georgia
• Flora and Fauna of Georgia. "Georgian Sheep-dog"
