The National Bank of Georgia declares, that the information published by the information agency “GHN”, based on anonymous source, is absurd and does not correspond to reality.
We have stated numerous times and this is confirmed by assessments and appraisals of all international organizations, the banking sector of Georgia is one of the most sound and developed part of the Georgian economy and nothing threatens its stability.
We emphasize once again that the banking system of the country continues functioning efficiently, in the usual way and the National Bank of Georgia is the guarantee of the system’s stability.
