Salome Tvalodze Participates in Climate Financing Discussion at the 57th Annual ADB Meeting
Salome Tvalodze, head of the Sustainable Financing Department of the National Bank of Georgia, participated in a panel organized by TBC Bank during the 57th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The panel discussion focused on increasing the role of the private sector in climate finance in developing countries. It also explored innovative financial instruments for harnessing the potential of renewable energy and climate finance in the region.
In her speech, Salome Tvalodze emphasized the sustainable financing framework of the National Bank of Georgia. She highlighted the importance of cooperation with the private sector and shared best practices from this collaboration.
"The National Bank of Georgia has been working on the development of a sustainable finance framework since 2017. Cooperation with various parties, especially the private sector, has been particularly significant in this process," said Salome Tvalodze.
