On September 24, 2009, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 15 000 000 GEL were sold at the 91-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #38.  The securities were purchased by two  commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 3.67%, the maximum interest rate was 3.76%, and the average weighted interest rate was 3.73%.
