On October 1, 2009, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 5 000 000 GEL were sold at the 91-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #39.  The securities were purchased by two  commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 3.27%, the maximum interest rate was 3.44%, and the average weighted interest rate was 3.34%.
