On December 3, 2009, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of GEL 15 000 000 were sold at the 91-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #49.  The securities were purchased by two commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 3.07%, the maximum interest rate was 3.17%, and the average weighted interest rate was 3.14%.
