On December 17, 2009, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of GEL 15 000 000 were sold at the 91-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #51.  The securities were purchased by four (4) commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 3.00%, the maximum interest rate was 3.20%, and the average weighted interest rate was 3.07%.
