On January 1, 2010, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of GEL 15 000 000 were sold at the 92-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction #1.  The securities were purchased by two (2) commercial banks. The minimum interest rate was 2.83%, the maximum interest rate was 3.37%, and the average weighted interest rate was 3.07%.
